The Hardest Bridge in Newbury

The Hardest Bridge had its pre-release screening in Newbury in May 2025. The audience were welcomed by the Mayor of Newbury, and the film was introduced by Executive Director, Howard Grace. The film director Imad Karam and protagonist Jo Berry answered questions from the audience.

Since, the film has been invited to screenings across the UK — including at the University of Oxford and at Frome Town Hall — where Jo Berry and Pat Magee's story continues to open conversations about reconciliation and dialogue.

The Man Who Built Peace premieres at the Illuminate Film Festival

The Man Who Built Peace had its worldwide premiere on 4 June 2017 at the Illuminate Film Festival in Sedona, Arizona. The London launch followed on 7 June at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, before a regional tour across the UK.

Director Imad Karam, cinematographer John Parker-Rees and co-producer Kelly Burks travelled across the United Kingdom, Europe, South America, the United States, India, Japan and South Korea to make the film.

Beyond Forgiving tours the UK

In 2014 Beyond Forgiving went on a UK tour (12–24 May) with public screenings, seminars and workshops on healing and reconciliation. By then the film had won the Award of Excellence for Best Director (IFFPIE) and an Award of Merit at the Best Shorts Competition (2013).

Director Imad Karam on his hope for the film: "if people can be inspired that even in the most dire circumstances people can forgive; then many of us can forgive the little things."
